The final piece in the Tide Marks collection, Keeper Beneath the Surface explores the emotional self that lives quietly beneath composure. Emerging from layered shoreline markings and tidal blues, the face becomes a guardian presence — calm, watchful, and deeply inward. Created as an anchoring object for spaces of reflection and healing, the work speaks to what remains sacred even after emotional tides have passed through us.
